Having to pay full price for a portion of the exam when you passed makes sense, since you are paying for an exam and a reservation to take it as well. The guy who thinks that the computer changes your answers is an old person with technology fears. Im not saying that you're dumb, just that I seriously doubt that you aced just those questions. Also, seeing that you still failed the exam, you most likely got those wrong too. The 10 or so extra questions on the exam really don't count against you. Guess what? If you had gotten less questions wrong, you would have been extra safe. If you failed the test by 1 point, you failed. Its easier for them to pay for someone to take it and adjust the teaching appropriately than it is to change the test for some school's curriculum. If you take a study course to prepare for an exam that PSI is giving and find that the exam doesn't have the material you covered, it's the fault of the course you chose. Being that I work at PSI and aren't in a romance with it, I don't have a problem with addressing a few things that I have read. So, occasionally I look at these boards to see what's going on in the world of testers for PSI exams. WATCH OUT PEOPLE, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SAVE YOUR $65 AND TEST SOMEWHERE ELSE. YOUR COMPANY WON'T LAST EITHER AT THIS RATE. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED THEMSELVES, THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN AND THEN TO HAVE AN ATTITUDE ABOUT IT. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, TERRIBLE COMPUTER SET UP. THE PEOPLE THERE WERE RUDE, DID NOT CARE BECAUSE THEY ALREADY HAVE A JOB. ASK IF I COULD JUST TAKE IT AGAIN ON DIFFERENT COMPUTER, TOLD NO HAVE TO WAIT.NOW I'M OUT ANOTHER WEEK OF WORK WHICH I CANT AFFORD AND MIGHT NOT GET THE JOB. NOW I'M BEING TOLD IT'S A WEEK BEFORE I KNOW MY RESULTS. I FINALLY GET TO TAKE THE TEST AND OOPS! COMPUTER FROZE. HAD TO PAY ALMOST $1000 TO GET MY INSURANCE LICENSE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A JOB, DON'T HAVE A JOB.
THERE ARE TOO MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT COMPUTER FAILURE AMONG OTHER THINGS. I THINK THEY MIGHT BE TAKING ON THE SAME POOR STANDARDS. I GUESS THEY TOOK OVER FOR THE FORMER UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. THE PLACE TO TEST HERE IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA CALLED PEARSONVUE TESTING. So PSI is giving us the run-around over a refund and I KNOW my husband knows the material so I seriously doubt the test results are accurate. We called our back and everything she said was a load of BS. We called again, this time the CSR said to call our bank because their records showed that they had already issued a refund. The CSR said she would talk to her manager and then call us back, once again, never called back. We waited to see if it would post the next day, it didn’t, so we called again. We called them back and once again had to argue with the CSR they said they would talk to their tech department and call us back. So we called them back and after arguing with the CSR his manager agreed to give a refund and said it would be posted the next day. After that was taken care of we checked our bank statement to see if everything went through okay and guess what? We were charged twice! He called back and this time spoke with a CSR who set up the next text. He called into their automated system to schedule another test and after entering the card information it hung up on him. My husband has taken his test twice and failed both times, which seems a little fishy if you ask me but that isn’t my main complaint. Where one party fails to fulfill their contractual duties, it is a breach - none more material then here. Stand up america! We don't need to take this! Write your state licensing authorities and demand they break their contract with psi. Seems to be an ada violation right there.

Who does that these days? On interest on their phone system, they force you to enter a push botton code - what about people with rotaries phone or handicapped-equipped phones. The only way solution is to write them a hardcopy letter via usps. Try calling them and you are on hold for a minimum of an hour (That was the longest I lasted, but your results may vary depending on your patience). Psi is a joke! Their website is notoriously bad and unreliable. What no one at your training center will tell you is that you have to deal with psi. Regrettably, psi has the contract for many states to administer state exams - real estate, auditor, contractors, etc. Psi exams is the most poorly mis-managed testing center company I have ever come across.
